The Society’s Musical Director is John Hobbs. John has been closely associated with the North Devon Choral Society since moving to the area from his native Warwickshire in 1964. He has acted as accompanist, chorus member, baritone soloist and, since 1991, conductor and musical director.
John has a very wide knowledge of choral singing and choral works. He conducts the Bude Choral Society, sings with the Duchy Opera Company and plays the organ at Weare Giffard Parish Church.
